Visit to the GSPCA
November 2015
On 9th November 2015, Sammie, Paige and I accompanied the Junior Handlers on a visit to the GSPCA.  We were meet by Sarah who was going to show us around. We all took some dog food and treats as a donation to say thank you.

Sarah took us firstly to the animal hospital which was very interesting and we saw a variety of small animals. Then it was upstairs to the ferrets  - cute but very stinky!!! We also saw some birds in the next room. Next stop was the hedgehogs, which  was really great and Sarah brought out a small and large hog for us to have a closer look at. In each section Sarah gave us lots of information and the girls asked lots of questions.

Then it was off to the new building, the very modern cat hotel which is home to over 20 cats and kittens.  Sarah got out a couple of kittens for the girls to stroke.

Last stop was the training room where Sarah brought out the last two remaining Slovakian puppies for the girls to play with - Cam the Dachshund and Eric the Pug - they were adorable.

The girls were all so well behaved and polite, a pleasure for us and a credit to the Guernsey Kennel Club. We're all looking forward to future visits.
