July 2018
In view of the current hot weather and in the interest of the dogs' health, it has been decided to cancel, with immediate effect, all ringcraft and junior handling classes until the end of August.

Please watch for possible changes to dates, venues and times for the Summer Match on 22 July and the 26 August match, again due to the hot weather.

Puppy walks
Puppy walks will now take place immediately after handling classes.  Entry fee now £2.

New classes
There will be a "Retired Dog Class" from the next match on 3rd June at Le Friquet Garden Centre. All retired show dogs may enter eg neutered, "cut downs" etc. Winners will not qualify for the supermatch but will receive a rosette. Entry fee £2.

Starting from the Autumn Open Show, an Any Variety Vintage class for dogs aged 10 and over will be included in the End-of-Show judging after the Veteran class.

Top Dog class at matches
To enable more dogs to qualify for the Supermatch, starting with the February match all dogs over the age of two holding a CC, RCC or PdH, or that are Group Winners or Jersey Champions, will be entered in the "Top Dog" Class. Instead of qualifying for the Supermatch they will compete against each other under their own points system, the winner receiving an engraved plaque at the first match of the following year.

Puppy Walks
We are now  holding puppy walks at matches. Dogs must be vaccinated and able to attend ringcraf. Proof of age and vaccinations will be required.

All puppy walks will be done during the break in matches, with a considerate person going over them. The puppies will not be judged but will be awarded a rosette to say they have taken part. Cost for entry is £1.
