In 2010, when I was 11 years old, my family got our first pet dog, a Bolognese called Ziggi. We chose this breed as we needed a hypoallergenic dog and they were the right size for us at the time.

In 2013, after visiting a GKC show and falling in love with the breed, we acquired our first Spanish Water Dog, named Alfie, and my show career began. Unfortunately he did not take to showing but in the brief period that we competed together I made some wonderful friends who let me assist with handling their dogs.

In 2017, my family and I felt it was time for me to get my own show dog. Another Spanish Water Dog named Seve. He has really brought out my passion for showing and helped me make many new friends while competing in the UK.

There are two highlights to my time in the dog world which are very special to me. The first was being asked to handle two of my friends' dogs at Crufts 2017. This was my first time competing in the UK, and Crufts. Placing 2nd in Junior Bitch with one of the dogs I handled was the cherry on the cake. The second was in March 2018 when I travelled to Crufts for the first time with my own dog. Seve placed 1st in Junior Dog which made all the hard work and training together worthwhile.
