in 2011 I retired and got a rescue Lhasa Apso because she looked cute. I loved the breed and then got another one, which I then bred, and she produced four pups, two I kept and two went to a local home.
I briefly showed my second dog then really got into it with the two pups who have both been very successful. My highlight was when my homebred girl Lollie (pop) placed third in her class at Crufts out of a class of fourteen.
Other hobbies include sewing, gardening, socialising with family and friends, and weekends away. As well as being a member of the Guernsey Kennel Club, my husband and I are members of the Old Car Club. I also have been the Hon Sec of the Guernsey Deaf Children's Society since 1996 and help with Riding for the Disabled - and usually anything else people need help with.
